Starting Sunday, August 11 and ending Tuesday, October 1, our entire church is taking on a unique 52-day journey inspired by the story of Nehemiah—who, with God’s help, rebuilt the wall in just 52 days. It wasn’t just about stones and structure—it was about restoring the heart of a people. We believe God is still in the rebuilding business today. That’s why we’re inviting you to join us in a 52-day spiritual challenge.

Each day, we’re asking you to take just a few intentional steps to connect with God, grow in your faith, and build a stronger spiritual foundation. We’ve created an easy-to-remember acronym to guide you through it:

B – BE STILL

Take a quiet moment to pause and reflect. Stillness helps us make space for God to speak.

R – READ

Spend time in Scripture. It could be a single verse, a short passage, or a chapter—whatever helps you stay connected to God’s Word that day.

I – INVITE

Invite God into your day, your decisions, or your struggles—or invite someone else into a conversation, a prayer, or even an opportunity to come to church.

C – CONNECT

Reach out to someone in love or encouragement—or simply connect with God through honest prayer. Relationships matter, and we grow best together.

K – KEEP GOING

Missed a day (or ten)? That’s okay. Don’t give up. Pick up your brick and keep going. This challenge isn’t about perfection—it’s about progress.

This challenge is not about getting it all right or checking off a to-do list. It’s not meant to make you feel guilty if you get behind or start late. Instead, it’s an invitation. Whether you’re brand new to faith or have been walking with Jesus for decades, this is a chance to take one small step each day—knowing that God is building something bigger than we can see.

We’ll be handing out journals to help you stay on track, reflect, and grow during the challenge. You’ll find space for each day with room to write your thoughts, prayers, or whatever God is showing you. We’ve also launched a private Facebook group where we’ll post encouraging thoughts, Scriptures, videos, and updates throughout the journey—and where you can share what God is doing in your life.

Bonus:

In the back of your journal, you could draw 52 empty bricks—one for each day. And you can color one in each day you participate to keep track.

You can also:

  • Use colorful pens to highlight verses or write prayers

  • Write a name or situation you’re praying for inside each brick

  • Get creative and involve your kids or friends in the challenge

This is your journey—and there’s no wrong way to do it. The only rule? Keep going. Because brick by brick, God is building something in you.

Let’s build what matters most—together.
