What are Sunday services like?
We offer two styles of services on Sunday mornings. A traditional service at 8:30 AM with traditional hymns and a contemporary service at 10:30 AM with our worship band. Both services have a sermon message and time of communion.
How does your church take communion?
Each week, we have a time of reflection and partaking of the Lord's Supper. As the communion trays are served, each individual takes the bread and juiced when passed and holds onto it during a personal time of prayer and meditation to take when you are ready. You may place your empty cup in the holder on the chair in front of you.
What should I wear to church?
At JCC, you will find a little bit of everything from causal jeans to suit and tie. We invite everyone to come as they are and dress in what is comfortable to them.
Where do my kids go?
At our 10:30 service, we offer classes for Nursery - 5th grade. All children must be checked in at our Children's Check In before going to their class. Our Children's Check In is located down the hall from our Welcome Center. You will want to arrive a few minutes early to get your child checked in and to their age appropriate class. We also offer Sunday School classes for Preschool - 5th grade and childcare at 9:30. There is no children's programming during our 8:30 service, children are invited to attend the main service with their families.
What do you offer for middle school/high school?
During Sunday mornings, our middle school and high school students attend the main worship service, however beginning in July, we will begin a middle school service during the 10:30 hour. Sunday nights are the biggest component to our 412 Student Ministry. Middle School meets from 5-6 PM and High School meets from 6 - 7:30 PM.
