LOCAL missions

Great Clothing Giveaway: Each year we hold our "Great Clothing GIveaway". This event every August allows us to help hundreds of people receive gently used clothing and back to school items.

Christmas Closet: During the month of December, we run our Christmas Closet. This event helps us raise funds for Christmas presents for children. This year we were able to raise $1,535.46 and sponsor 29 kids for Christmas.

Compassion Wagon: In 2017 we were able to reveal our Compassion Wagon to Jamestown. We have been able to use our Compassion wagon to be a mobile set up for a coat giveaway here in Jamestown. Some of our youth were also able to help gather supplies for Jeremiah Tree Ministry in Xenia. Be looking for our Compassion Wagon to be doing some great things in our community in 2018!

GLOBAL missions:

JCC partners with Lifeline Christian Mission serving Christ in Haiti and The Navajo Nation

For more than 30 years Lifeline Christian Mission has been restoring hope by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people around the world while involving people from the United States and Canada in the ministry work of fulfilling the Great Commission.

The Need: As one of the poorest counties in the United States, the need is great to provide the hope of Jesus Christ and to transform the lives of the Navajo people.

Join a work team and personally impact the ministry to the Navajo.  Teams are scheduled in the summer months. Individuals, families and groups can join scheduled teams

The Need: The physical needs are greatest out of the places we serve. This Caribbean country of over 10,000,000 continues to struggle with natural disasters and political/economic turmoil. Sharing the promise and hope of Christ is our primary goal.
