Deacon of the Month

The Deacon of the Month will lock up the church every Sunday of the month, ensure lights & tv’s are turned off, lock Worship Center, and set up for funeral meals.

Together we will be going through the book, Practicing The Way, starting January 5th. We will read one chapter per week. Rather than approaching this as an academic assignment, our focus is on listening to what Jesus may be inviting each of us into. Each week, our conversations will center around three simple questions:

Where did this chapter challenge or shape how you think about following Jesus or leading others?
What practice might Jesus be inviting you to lean into right now?
How could this shape the way we serve and lead together as a church?

If you were not at the meeting to receive a book, Luke will be reaching out to arrange a time for you to get your book.
