Deacons
The Deacons are examples of servanthood. They work in conjunction with the Elders to
make sure the needs of the Church are being met. If you want to help serve or you
know of a need, please contact a Deacon. The Deacons meet the third Monday
at 7:00 pm.
Elders
The Elders are Shepherds of the Church. The responsibility of eldership is to feed, lead,
guide, and nurture the people of Jamestown Church of Christ. The Shepherd will make
an effort to keep his flock close to the body of believers. If you as a member have any
needs, concerns, prayer requests, and praises please contact any of the elders. The
Elders love the Lord, their families, and their Church family. The Elders meet the fourth
Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM.

Anything to do with check reimbursements, the budget, etc.
Evangelism – Steve Rich
Fellowship - Peggy Stoops
Anything that has to do with kitchen supplies, fellowship dinners, tables, and chairs.
Food for Funerals - Patty Gill

Missions - Karen Church
This group meets the second Tuesday of the month at the church building
(Leadership Room) at 7:30 PM. This ministry discusses the Faith Promise Budget
and the dispersing of funds for the missions supported by the Church.

A member may contact the office for immediate or critical emergencies and a phone
tree will be started immediately! All other prayer requests, please call or leave a note
for Bobbie so it can be put in the Beacon.
Senior Citizen Outreach - Carolyn Beekman, JoAnn Mays
The first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am at the Phoenix Restaurant, our Church
sponsors a program for our community Seniors.

This ministry works as an outreach to those who are looking for a church to attend.
It also provides members information concerning upcoming events, outreaches, and
needs of the congregation.
Welcome/Outreach
This ministry works in conjunction with the greeters to provide a tremendous greeting
to our members and visitors on Sunday mornings. They also contact our visitors
throughout the week.
Widow/Senior's Ministry - Kenny Cavendar
If a widow or the elderly need transportation, home repairs, etc.
Youth (6th-12th grade)
Anything that has to do with this age group such as activities and classes.
